All of LSR7’s preschool programming requires qualification to enroll and is free. All of our programs serve children 3-5 years of age and include a home visit and parent teacher conferences. Most of our classrooms are multi-age classrooms where 3,4 and 5 year olds learn side by side. The Early Childhood Special Education program is provided to children who qualify for services based upon a screening and evaluation process. Children served through the Early Childhood Special Education program may receive assistance such as speech, language, occupational and/or physical therapy if they qualify. Children served through the Title 1 preschool program must qualify through a Parents as Teachers screening. Our 2 Head Start classrooms serve children whose families qualify financially to attend. These 2 classrooms have meals served at school, our other programs do not.

The Great Beginnings Early Education program currently includes 23 classrooms in total.

Parent involvement is an integral part of the Early Childhood Programs. Parents are encouraged to enroll in the Parents as Teachers program, you can enroll online at Parents as Teachers.
